GeoDrop Privacy Policy
Last Updated: February 20, 2026
LowJam LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy
explains how we collect and use data within the GeoDrop service.
1. Information Collection
We collect the following information to provide and maintain our Service:
- Identity Data: Email address and unique identifiers provided by Google
Authentication.
- Subscription Data: Plan status, billing cycle end dates, and transaction identifiers
processed via Lemon Squeezy.
- Log Data: Timestamps for account creation and your most recent login.
- Feedback Data: User names and feedback provided through our integrated feedback platform,
Featurebase.
2. How We Use Data
- To manage your account and provide access to paid features.
- To process payments and maintain tax compliance via our Merchant of Record.
- To communicate with you regarding service updates or support requests.
3. Third-Party Data Processors
To provide our Service, we share limited data with the following trusted partners:
- Google: For secure user authentication.
- Lemon Squeezy: For payment processing and global tax compliance.
- Featurebase: For managing user feedback and feature requests. You can view their privacy
policy here.
- MapTiler: For geocoding services. We share only the specific data required to resolve
location coordinates; this information is processed ephemerally and is not stored by our backend or MapTiler
once the request is complete.
4. Data Sovereignty and Local Storage
GeoDrop utilizes a "local-first" architecture.
- Local Processing: Raw data layers and data analysis are processed in your browser’s local
memory.
- No Auto-Uploads: We do not store or see the raw data you analyze locally unless you
explicitly opt-in to cloud-saving features.
5. Your Rights and Deletion
You may request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting
jim@lowjam.com. We will remove your information from our databases and notify our
sub-processors to do the same.
Please note: A request for deletion applies to existing records only. Any subsequent
login to GeoDrop after a deletion request is fulfilled will be treated as the creation of a new
account, resulting in the fresh collection of data as outlined in this Policy.
6. Legal Retention
We may retain limited, anonymized records of deletion requests to document our compliance with legal and
regulatory "right to be forgotten" obligations.
